Bala Kamal Sundar Akhade comes from the Malad area of Mumbai. Besides working with social organisations, he is also pursuing his MSW. Bala has been a part of the Malvani Yuva Parishad for 7 years. Through the medium of sports, he has held discussions, sessions with youth on different topics (gender, secularism, group strength, etc.). He has been been involved in work related to youth leadership, helping with the online processing of documents (Aadhaar, PAN, Voting). He also plays the tambourine.
