Rituparna (she/they) is a storyteller, library educator, and LGBTQIA+ rights activist from Assam. They have been working with children, women and the LGBTQIA+ community for the past few years. Rituparna believes in the power of reading and is taking the joy of reading to children in Assam through their initiative Project Kitape Katha Koi. Rituparna writes poems on the joy, anguish of being queer, and loves spending time with children.
