How can young feminist leaders benefit from a Community of Practice?

The 𝐅𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐂𝐨𝐏) is a collaborative platform that brings together intersectional feminist youth leaders, organisations, and networks from across India. The CoP will amplify voices from diverse identities and causes, to foster powerful dialogues on feminist youth leadership and collective action.

The aim of the CoP is to catalyse the feminist movement at large by mobilising grassroots youth leadership towards creating a more just and equitable future.

CoP members can:

  • Engage in meaningful conversations with other youth leaders and networks on key social issues.
  • Access and exchange valuable resources for shared knowledge-building.
  • Build bridges between grassroots activism and global advocacy spaces.
  • Promote intersectional feminism and gender equality across communities.

This community will be available for everyone to join very soon!

Cohorts

The current member cohort consists of over 50 youth leaders from different states of India, who have been engaged in the Feminist Youth Leadership Programme. Their work aims to bring about social transformation – through collectives, NGOs, government/s – while also unpacking questions about leadership, representation, and the feminist movement at large. They all come from diverse castes, religions, classes, abilities and cultures – and are keen to foreground these identities in praxis.
