Welcome to the Feminist Community of Practice, an online forum for and by feminist youth leaders. The CoP is an initiative of Phase II of the Feminist Youth Leadership Programme (FYLP) by Gender at Work India, supported by UN Women. It is a place of co-creation and collaboration where young people and practitioners can come together to engage with the landscape of leadership building. 

By using this platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

  1. Acceptance of Terms
    By accessing or using Feminist Community of Practice, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our platform.
  2. User Accounts
    1. You must be a registered user to access certain features.
    2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
    3. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.
  3. User Conduct
    1. You are responsible for all content you post.
    2. You must not use the platform to post illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
    3. You agree to respect the privacy and rights of other users.
  4. Content Sharing
    1. Users can choose to make their posts public or private.
    2. Public posts can be viewed by all members and may be visible to non-members in some contexts.
    3. Private posts are only visible to intended recipients or selected groups.
  5. Interaction Features
    1. The platform includes features such as a chat-box and status updates for communication.
    2. Use these features respectfully and do not spam or harass other users.
  6. Content Management
    1. The G@WI team reserves the right to moderate posts and remove any content that violates these terms.
    2. Users may report inappropriate content to the G@WI team for review.
  7. Intellectual Property
    1. All content posted by users remains their property. However, by posting content, you grant Feminist Community of Practice a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, distribute, and display your content.
    2. Respect the intellectual property of others. Do not post content that you do not have the right to share.
  8. Privacy

    Our Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the platform, you agree to this policy.

  9. Liability
    1. Feminist Community of Practice is not liable for any content posted by users. 
    2. The platform is provided “as is,” and we make no warranties regarding its functionality or availability.
  10. Changes to Terms

    We may update these terms from time to time. You will be notified of any significant changes. Continued use of the platform after changes signifies acceptance of the new terms.
